Problem Statement

The challenge addressed

Scope 3 emissions dominate most corporate footprints but visibility into supply chain carbon intensity is limited. Supplier selection ignores carbon impact.

Validate capabilities, performance, controls and integration requirements before implementation. Maps supply chain emissions by supplier, product category, and geographic origin. Calculates carbon intensity metrics (tCO2e per unit, per revenue, per weight). Identifies emission hotspots using Pareto analysis of supplier contributions. Models logistics route alternatives comparing carbon and cost trade-offs. Analyzes modal shift opportunities (sea vs. air, rail vs. truck) with transit time impacts.
